To date, in a pandemic, no matter where we live, online training has become a necessity and very popular. From 05 to 11 October, an online training on "Adult Education Online" CG was held (optional module 6)
At the optional CG Module "Online Adult Education", the participants got acquainted with the methods that will help them in the future to make online learning not boring, so that the course participants, even sitting at home, wearing slippers, enthusiastically discuss tasks, find solutions, move forward and do not allow them turn into a "talking head" on the computer screen of your listeners.
During a series of webinars, issues were discussed that help to make adult education comfortable and effective:
- Phases of the learning process and the possibility of using interactive methods at each stage of online learning;
- Features of online group processes; group support forms;
- Support for motivation to learn. Dealing with participants' risks and fears;
-Creating a play space in adult education. Development / use of games in online adult education;
- Creation and support of positive emotions; ways of emotional completion of the course.
The module consisted of four webinars. The peculiarity of the module was that at each stage the group discussed the key question: how can I use / adapt / apply this in my online practice?
At the end of each lesson, instead of standard tests, they received creative assignments. Their answers were combined into a common treasury of experience and suggestions, which later they can use themselves and share with colleagues.
According to the program of the optional CG Module, "Online Adult Education" began with Webinar 1. on the topic: "Stages of educational work and interactive methods online", where the participants first discussed the expectations from this module, and also answered the questions using the "Opinion Scale" exercise : Can Online Be Effective? Under what conditions?
With the help of presentations, the training steps were repeated, and also discussed in groups about how to add efficiency to the online learning process. At the end of the entire webinar, before summarizing the results, they got acquainted with the rituals and warm-ups in the online system.
Webinar 2. on the topic: "The learning process (group processes; online motivation; support for the positive emotional state of the participants)" was divided into several stages:
Warm-up: What smell pleased me today? Expectations from today's meeting?
* About the smell: why this exercise? Sometimes you need the participant's voice to sound, this is important for him and everyone. Why smell? Activating the sensor system
Group processes: reality or convention? Dealing with the fears / risks of participants
Meeting Expectations: "My Desk": What is the thing on my desk associated with today's expectations? (show everyone!)

Positive emotions: retain and retain

Each stage used its own tools and methods:
RITUALS: Rub our palms and clap our hands
SURVEYS: What are you afraid of in working with online? How to use our experience? Online tools for dealing with fears,
EXERCISES: What have I learned from the person I spoke with today in class ?; Wailing Wall (merge negative); End phrase in chat
As well as PRESENTATIONS, DISCUSSIONS, BRAINSTORM, BRAINWRITING
And after summing up the results of the day, they gave homework: Come up with an assignment to create a positive attitude of the participants (depending on your field of activity, course ...)
At Webinar 3 Construction of a play space in adult education, material was given for creating an educational quest on the topic: ANDRAGOGIKA. The purpose of this quest was to consolidate knowledge of the course "Theory and practice of adult education." Target group: andragogi, adult education specialists.
Brief description of the online game: the paved route allows the participants to comprehend in a metaphorical form the key aspects of andragogy (competence, fundamental principles, target groups and key figures, as well as to comprehend issues of time, communication, methods and ways of overcoming professional burnout). Total travel time: 40 minutes. In this game, intrigue is the main engine of the game.
The participants got acquainted with an important point: How to correctly complete the game? Exit.
Homework was also given at the end: Is the game appropriate for my job (online)? The answer is 5 phrases. Work in pairs on the phone or via mobile phone (!). This homework assignment is an example of how you can support participants between meetings. Each one retells the ideas of the dialogue partner
At Webinar 4 Mastering a new learning space (specifics of instructing participants; accompanying group work; individual support; emotional completion of the course), participants learned a warm-up exercise: How to give instructions to participants on-line correctly? We also got acquainted with the presentation on the topic: "Ways / methods of transferring new knowledge."
They jointly held a discussion and generalization on the topic "Features of moderation in online learning." And to answer the question How? and when? To improve interactions with adult learners individually they used Coach Practice (Scaling): How many points am I included? What to do to ... Who can support?
Well, at the end of the entire webinar, the methods of course completion were studied: Emotional course completion: how does it work?
After summing up the results of the module, all participants expressed and shared 3 thanks (to themselves, the group, the course).
