The training seminar was attended by 20 participants from 9 Adult Education Centers from all regions of the country.

“The training was very interesting and timely during the pandemic, we received a lot of new information. We learned about  the features of popular social networks and how to work with content. The good thing  is that we immediately began to apply the acquired knowledge and skills in practice and began to work on increasing coverage. In addition, during the training, we managed to open an Instagram page and a Youtube channel, and we studied with interest what social media targeting is, and how it works. There was a lot of useful information in Google presentations and programs, practice with video editors. Now we have a new goal - to assimilate such a large amount of new information in a short period of time and begin to actively practice. We are sure that this information will help make the pages of our foundation recognizable and effective, ”says Gulzhamal Urkunbaeva, a participant of the online course, Director of the Danida Public Foundation from Osh.

The main goal of the online intensive was to familiarize the participants of the program with the basic tools of working in social networks and teach how to effectively use SMM tools, create video tutorials, conduct online training and cover activities through social networks.

Distance learning today is more relevant than ever and opens up new wide opportunities for teaching adults, expanding both territorial coverage and coverage of target groups, therefore the Kyrgyz Association for Adult Education aims to intensify the use of new approaches in teaching and the introduction of innovative technologies in adult education.

The online course has achieved its main goals and the participants have already begun to actively apply the knowledge gained:

  • opened the official pages of their educational organizations on social networks;
  • understood the value and learned about the wide possibilities of online tools in learning;
  • created trial videos and video tutorials;
  • practically used the opportunity of online platforms
  • learned how to create effective content for social networks, engage users and increase the reach of the target audience;
  • mastered the skills and tools for photo, video content processing and posting.

There is no escape from modern trends, and many people involved in the field of education understand this and are trying to develop in this direction, including the Kyrgyz Adult Education Association.
