On July 11-12 this year, the Republican Center for Social and Economic Development "SABR" with the support of DVV International held a two-day training for representatives of NGOs and deputy departments of employment and labor relations entitled "Creating Local Development Centers to instill professional skills in vulnerable groups of the population."
NGOs at the training were presented by members of a network of socially-oriented organizations, created by the Center "SABR" in the framework of the social order "Innovative partnership mechanisms in solving social problems, ensuring employment of vulnerable segments of the population, especially women and youth, as well as creating new jobs in rural areas of six regions of Uzbekistan. " The training program included topics such as “Creating and organizing the activities of Local Development Centers in the pilot regions,” “Local Development Centers as a form of support for improving the well-being of vulnerable groups of the population,” “Social Hackathons,” “Involving Mentors in the Development Program for Social Entrepreneurship,” and others Of particular interest was the presentation of specially invited independent international expert D. A. Babadzhanova "Acceleration programs for the organizational development of socially-oriented NGOs."
