Online course for employees of Cultural Centers

The COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic has affected education systems around the world, resulting in the temporary closure of schools, universities and colleges, including in Uzbekistan. The introduction of home quarantine regime has led to a rapid transition of educational institutions to distance learning. However, due to lack of the necessary equipment, digital platforms and necessary professional skills, not all institutions providing educational services have the opportunity to deliver quality e-learning.

In accordance with the current situation, on 27 April 2020, the DVV International in Uzbekistan launched online course "Approaches to Adult Education" for the Cultural Centers of the cities Kuvasai, Namangan and Karshi district of Kashkadarya region. The e-training is based on the international Curriculum GlobALE (CG) program, which is actively used for training and professional development of specialists working in the sector of adult learning and education worldwide. The participants of this course are: administrators, mentors, trainers of cultural centers, who will be able to learn how to work with adults, learn about international and national trends in adult education and learning.
