On April 25, 2024, a kick-off meeting of the project "Promoting Gender Transformative Communities through Civil Participation" was held in Tashkent, co-financed by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ)).
The event was organized by the German Adult Education Association (DVV) in Uzbekistan (hereinafter referred to as the DVV International Uzbekistan) together with the Republican Center for Social and Economic Development "SABR" (hereinafter referred to as RCSED "SABR"), responsible for the implementation of the project in Uzbekistan.
During the event, the goals and objectives of the project were presented and the possibility of synergy with other ongoing projects with the participation of the DVV International in Uzbekistan was discussed.
The event was attended by representatives of the EU Delegation to Uzbekistan, the project team of the DVV International in Uzbekistan, RCSED "SABR", as well as project partners, representatives of the Andijan branch of RCSED "SABR", the Bukhara branch of the International Organization "Tadbirkor Ayol", NGO "Yangi Uzbekiston Ishbilarmonlari" of the Syrdarya region.
