Curriculum globALE available in Uzbek language

In 2018, DVV International in Uzbekistan, in partnership with the Institute for Pedagogical Innovation, Retraining and Continuing Education of Leadership and Pedagogical Staff in Vocational Education (IPC VET), began work on institutionalizing the Curriculum globALE (second edition). Within the framework of this project, the translation of the programme into the Uzbek language has been completed, which will make it accessible to all teachers working in the adult education system in Uzbekistan. 


Curriculum globALE (CG) is a modular, competency-based cross-cultural core curriculum for the training of adult educators worldwide. It was developed jointly by the German Institute for Adult Education (DIE) and DVV International, the Institute for International Cooperation of the German Adult Education Association. In five modules, it describes the relevant skills needed to lead successful courses and provides guidance on their practical implementation. The competencies provided are relevant to course instructors, trainers, lecturers as a prerequisite for carrying out their work professionally. According to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), the CG curriculum corresponds to approximately ECF level 5. To date, the CG programme has been translated into Russian, German, Albanian, Arabic, Bosnian, Macedonian, Serbian, Spanish and Laotian, and now also into Uzbek.
