WHEN DIGITAL COMPETENCE IS STRENGTHENED

A review and analysis of the Curriculum digitALE, working with data and information, digital identity, security, and the creation of digital content were among the key topics examined and improved during a four-day workshop organized by the Adult Education Association of Tajikistan together with DVV International in Tajikistan. The event took place at the Training Center of the National Bank of Tajikistan in Guliston, Sughd region.

The goal of the workshop was to enhance the curriculum through participants’ suggestions aimed at developing practical skills for further use in teaching effective and safe application of digital tools.

During the workshop, representatives of civil society organizations, together with a team of trainers led by Asomidin Atoev, not only carried out practical tasks but also shared their ideas and recommendations to make the program more convenient and effective.

Special attention was given to inclusivity: the materials were prepared in accessible electronic formats, and the interactive format allowed each participant to ask questions and put forward suggestions.

One of the participants, Timur Abdusamadov, noted:
“Knowledge about data protection and the use of digital tools is very important for our organization. It was especially useful to discuss ways to improve the module on existing digital education.”

Another participant, Avazkhon Sirojov, added:
“It is important that the lessons were presented in simple language and included practical recommendations. We also had the opportunity to share our own ideas on how to improve the program.”

According to the organizers, the workshop was aimed not only at improving digital literacy, but also at enhancing educational programs for their further application in the learning process.
