We are continuing to talk about five arguments for adult learning and education (ALE). Argument # 2. Diversity and growth. One of the main trends in the global labor market now is to be switching professions every 10-15 years. The reasons are not only economic. Of course, many people decide to acquire new competencies in demand in their niche and claim more earnings. But there are other reasons as well. For example, employees can work 10 years in one place, and start feeling that they have reached the ceiling. They have achieved everything they wanted, and the prospect of doing the same for another 10-20 years does not make them happy. Changing the field of activity and re-starting in a new profession is a great option for those who want to start life from scratch and try something new.
