A new training, Curriculum managerALE program has been launched for heads of partner adult education centers - members of the Kyrgyz Adult Education Association (KAEA) and members of the Public Association "Information and Resource Centers" library network throughout the country.
The program consists of six modules and will last up to 2 years. On June, the first module: “Basic Knowledge on Adult Learning and Education, and Lifelong Learning” was held. Individuals who have completed this module will have a deep understanding of adult learning and education (ALE) as a part of lifelong learning and are able to transform this into the design of a variety of programs and activities of institutions for adult learning and education, based on flexible learning approaches and legal documents that support ALE and lifelong learning (structures, authorities, etc.).
We would like to remind you that the Curriculum managerALE program is piloted for the first time in Central Asia and Kyrgyzstan is the third country in the world where trainings based on the modular competency-based curriculum for managers of institutions of adult learning and education are conducted. Upon successful completion of the program, DVV International in Kyrgyzstan will continue to implement this program in partner adult education centers and libraries where adult education centers operate.
The trainers were graduates of the Curriculum globALE program, certified adult educators: Ashimova Chinara and Bashirova Masuma.
The program is implemented with financial support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and is being launched for the first time in Central Asia as a piloting project.
