The process of implementation of the international adult learning and education programme "Curriculum GlobALE" continues in Kyrgyzstan. From 26 to 29 November 2020, the second seminar "Module 2: Adult learning and adult education" took place.
The seminar was conducted by international trainers from Serbia Prof. Katarina Popovic and Maya Maksimovic.
The aim of the training was to introduce the key features of adult learning, the ability to recognise the individual reasons that have led a person to start learning, and the ability to increase the motivation of learners and identify barriers to learning. The participants were introduced to the most important psychological theories and their importance for the learning process.
Information transfer methods such as visual presentations and interactive learning with the possibility of using one's own experience through role-playing and simulations were used.
The training was very constructive, the examples and cases were clear and informative, and some of the exercises were very visual and feasible. The training took place in the form of a smooth transition from theory to practice.
Participants received theoretical knowledge through demonstration on practical exercises, which gave the opportunity to disassemble and apply knowledge and skills directly at the training. The trainers worked synchronously and smoothly, perfectly complemented each other, feeling each other sensitively, which was especially noted by the participants.
During the training, an interesting, trusting and relaxed environment was established, despite the very large amount of information.
