“DVV at the berufsEXPO” — On October 1–2, the berufsEXPO 2025 exhibition was held, attended by about 1,500 guests interested in learning German and obtaining information about various opportunities for vocational training and employment in Germany.
During the event, the Uzbekistan branch of the German Adult Education Association (DVV) presented the “Deutsch Global” Project , which aims to promote the teaching and learning of German in Uzbekistan.
Representatives of the DG Project demonstrated the vhs-lernportal , DVV’s online resource for self-study of the German language, available free of charge to students and teachers of public institutions .
In addition, the Adult Education Center (vhs) of Bremen —a partner organization of the DVV Head Office in Germany—was presented at the exhibition.
Partners from Bremen talked about opportunities for dual education in their region. Motivated young people learned about the requirements and necessary steps to start training in Bremen companies, including in areas such as nursing , driving , hospitality , and logistics .
