What national and local legislation governing non-formal adult education exists in the Republic of Moldova? What legal aspects allow non-material and financial support from local government for the subfield of adult education?
These and many other questions relevant to the field of (non-formal) adult education were intensively discussed during the workshop on 27 October and 22 November 2022 with expert Aliona Țurcan. A total of 19 people - directors and project managers of NGOs/Adult Learning and Education Centres; trainers from the network of Adult Learning and Education Centres; representatives of local public administration were engaged in discussions and various exercises.
During these meetings, participants were familiarised with general aspects of national legislation and specific aspects of local legislation governing non-formal adult education; Highlighted the existing legal aspects that allow non-material and financial support from local government for the subfield of adult education and could operate in the future; Identified actions to request support for non-formal adult education.
The event was organized by DVV International Moldova with BMZ funds.
