On 20 July 2026, a regional policy roundtable was held at Ambrolauri Municipality to strengthen cooperation in the field of adult learning and education. The meeting brought together representatives from different levels of local government in Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri and Lentekhi municipalities, including mayors, deputy mayors, municipal council chairpersons and their deputies. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Administration of the State Representative in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti and DVV International Georgia, the Director of the Ambrolauri Adult Education Centre, and an invited expert.
Participants discussed existing municipal programmes and local needs in the field of adult learning and education. The invited expert presented legislative mechanisms for cooperation between local governments and civil society organisations, examples from other municipalities, and possible approaches to financing educational initiatives.
Participants spoke positively about the work of the Ambrolauri Adult Education Centre and expressed interest in continuing dialogue and cooperation in the future.
