Project “Human Rights in Action: Championing Change with Youth and CSOs”

On September 23, within this project, the International Social and Educational Center "Barqaror Hayot" held a thematic event at Nizami Pedagogical University, dedicated to the issues of ensuring human rights at the local level, with a special focus on youth rights.
Participants: students, teachers, representatives of state institutions and local self-government bodies interested in promoting human rights and fostering a legal culture among the younger generation.
Purpose of the event — creating a platform for dialogue between young people, local authorities, and community members. Participants discussed real cases of human rights violations, shared opinions , and proposed solutions to improve the situation.
The event also featured contests highlighting the theme of human rights, with winners receiving commemorative prizes.
The event showed the importance of legal education for youth and strengthening their role as an active and responsible part of civil society .
