DVV International has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Enterprise Development Authority (NEDA) to promote entrepreneurship and business skills development among youth and adults in Sri Lanka.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Lakshman Abeysekera, Chairman of NEDA, and Ms. Sonja Belete, Regional Director of DVV International for South Asia, with Mr. Dhanuka Liyanagamage, Director of NEDA, also joining the occasion.
Through this partnership, both institutions aim to create new learning opportunities for individuals who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET), by building practical skills for self-employment and small business creation. The collaboration will focus on community-based training, mentoring, and enterprise development that link learning directly with economic opportunity.
By working hand in hand with a national government institution like NEDA, DVV International continues to advance its mission of integrating lifelong learning into Sri Lanka’s development priorities, turning skills into livelihoods and ideas into sustainable enterprises.
