DVV International in Kyrgyzstan continues to implement initiatives aimed at supporting vocational education and expanding opportunities for young people. As part of the “Welcome to Bavaria” project, implemented jointly with partners from Kyrgyzstan and Germany, a new podcast dedicated to the topic of dual education has been produced.
This episode explores one of the most effective models of vocational education in Germany — the dual education system, which combines theoretical learning in educational institutions with practical training at companies. This approach enables young people not only to gain academic knowledge but also to apply it directly in practice, developing in-demand professional skills and increasing their competitiveness in the labour market.
A particular value of this episode is the participation of a first-year programme graduate. She shares her personal experience of joining the project, talks about the interview process, and honestly describes her adaptation and integration into the local community in Bavaria. Her story helps to better understand the real challenges and opportunities faced by participants of international education programmes.
The podcast also highlights the importance of intercultural exchange, learning the German language, and support from project partners as key factors for successful participation in the programme.
