Within the long-term cooperation of DVV International with the Adult Training Centre “Danida” in Osh the project on "Professionalisation of partner NGOs in strengthening financial sustainability: Diversification of income sources by establishing social enterprises" provided support in purchasing equipment for a printshop. Using that new equipment, trainings on production of printed materials and souvenirs were supported.
The trainers of the NGO Danida (Osh) have developed the course on "Production of printed and souvenir products" (80 hours programme) and with the support of DVV International started its implementation from October 1, 2019. The participants of the course will learn to use Coraldraw and Photoshop softwares, as well as learn how to work with printing and souvenir production equipment. After the end of the course, participants will be able to produce various products for sale. The income will be then reinvested into capacity buidling activities as well for additional courses for people with disabilities in the region.
