Developing the vocational competences of young people within the framework of the dual training model in Bavaria ’

Within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Federal Employment Agency of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Adult Learning University in Cham district (Volkshochschule im Landkreis Cham e.V), the Public Association "Youth of Osh" and DVV International (Institute for International Cooperation of the German Adult Education Association) are jointly implementing the project “Welcome to Bavaria”.
The aim of the project is to popularize an effective model of professional skills development for young people and to expand opportunities for young people to receive quality vocational education through the system of dual training in Germany.
The project involves educational institutions and organisations in Bishkek and Osh, as well as companies and educational organisations in the Kamsky district of Bavaria.
Over the course of three years, the project will help expand cooperation between Kyrgyz and German organisations, including
- support learning the German language and learning about the culture of Bavaria;
- provide training for entry into vocational schools;
- provide counselling on vocational training and dual training in the Kamsky district of Bavaria
for young people from Osh and Osh oblast.
The project also supports the professional development of teachers and trainers involved in the development of co-operation between the Kamsky District and Osh Oblast.
