Within the framework of the project “INCLUSION: Dialogues for Inclusive Education and Employment Practices”, a series of 48 dialogue meetings was held at the regional and national levels in Kyrgyzstan. The meetings focused on the development of adult education, inclusive education, and expanding employment opportunities for different groups of the population.
The meetings provided a platform for open dialogue among representatives of government institutions, civil society organizations, educational institutions, and expert communities. Their main objective was to jointly discuss existing challenges in the field of adult education, identify possible solutions, and define further areas for cooperation.
Particular attention was paid to ensuring equal access to education for persons with disabilities, women, youth, rural populations, and other vulnerable groups. During the discussions, participants examined existing barriers affecting adults’ participation in educational programs and explored opportunities to improve the system so that it better responds to the needs of every individual.
The organization of these meetings brought together representatives of various organizations and institutions working in the fields of education, employment, and social support. This format created opportunities for experience sharing, exchange of different perspectives, and building a common understanding of existing challenges and possible solutions.
In total, more than 830 participants took part in the events. They included representatives of government institutions, civil society organizations, educational institutions, and expert communities from all regions of Kyrgyzstan.
The recommendations and outcomes of the discussions will serve as a basis for further project activities aimed at improving conditions for the development of accessible and inclusive adult education, strengthening cooperation between the state and civil society, and expanding opportunities for vulnerable groups to participate in educational and social life.
