We are pleased to extend our sincerest congratulations to Mr. Uwe Gartenschlaeger, the Director of DVV International, on his distinguished induction into the International Adult and Continuing Education Hall of Fame (IACE Hall of Fame). The induction ceremony took place on the 3rd of October 2023 in Lexington, Kentucky, USA. (The Hall of Fame was established not only to honor leaders in the fields of continuing education and adult learning but also to serve as a repository of history and a source of inspiration for future generations of continuing education leaders.)
What makes this achievement even more significant for us is the fact that Mr. Uwe Gartenschlaeger served as the Regional Director for Central Asia from 2002 to 2005. During his tenure, his visionary leadership laid the groundwork for the remarkable work in ALE that continues to flourish in the region to this day.
Once again, Mr. Uwe Gartenschlaeger, congratulations on this prestigious honor. May your dedication to adult and continuing education serve as an enduring source of inspiration for us all, and may your legacy leave an indelible mark for generations to come.
