Participants of the training "Features of the organization and conduct of distance learning"
DVV International, in partnership with the Institute of Innovative Development, Continuing Education and Retraining of Teachers of the Vocational Education System (hereinafter referred to as the Institute), began the development of a distance learning platform for the training of andragogical practitioners in Uzbekistan. The basis for the substantive component of this platform will be the Curriculum GlobALE International Adult Education Teacher Training Framework (CG).
On March 12-13, 2019, in order to develop the employees of the Institute of Basic Knowledge and Skills in Distance Learning, an introductory training was held on “Features of the organization and conduct of distance learning”. The main group of participants consisted of employees of the Institute. Representatives of the Academy of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Center for the Advancement of the Preschool Education System, as well as graduates of Curriculum GlobALE (18 people in total) were also invited to the training. The training was conducted by experts from Russia - Alexander Molchanov and Natalia Dneprovskaya.
According to the results of the training, participants:
• Gained knowledge of available information technologies for the development of adult education;
• Able to identify and evaluate the capabilities of distance learning tools to achieve learning outcomes;
• Completed practical tasks on creating a distance learning platform;
• Have an idea about the options for the use of distance learning in the educational process;
• Performed practical exercises for developing a distance learning scenario based on some CG modules;
• Developed the most appropriate model and tools to achieve the ultimate goal of the project.
