In September 2018, the DVV branch in Uzbekistan announced a competitive program of small grants on the subject: "Innovative approaches in promoting youth and women." The winners were 6 projects. All projects were successfully implemented, the results were summed up:
“We, volunteers, for a world without violence” (Istiqbolli Avlod, Tashkent). The participants learned how to conduct info campaigns (quiz, action, discussion, talk shows and others) and are interested in eradicating social problems with their help.
"Safe Future" (Istiqbolli Avlod, Nukus). Young people, including those registered at the Inspectorate for Minors at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the children of migrant workers, as a result of trainings, increased their resistance against the propaganda of extremist and radical movements.
"Awareness is the key to success" (Barkaror Hayot, Termez). Employees of mahalla committees charged with information and educational activities improved their skills.
"Strengthening the potential of women and youth to solve socially significant tasks in the Kashkadarya region" (Yuksalish, Karshi). A model of social technology for the formation and development of women's human rights initiatives at the local level has been developed and implemented.
“Domestic clubs are a step towards civil society” (Yurt Istiqbol, Golestan). The youth youth initiative has been expanded to revitalize 22 volunteers and organizations of yard clubs in 8 regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
"Youth Eco-Parliament" (Federation of Extreme and Mountain Tourism of Uzbekistan, Tashkent). A group of youth leaders has been created who are able to take an active part in the implementation of environmental programs, as well as create their own mini-projects (environmental tours, clubs, promotions, etc.).
