Target group: Low-income at age 58-80 and unemployed pre-retired people.
At least 120 women trained in the manufacture of competitive products/goods that are in demand in the arts and crafts market.
Project activities: Skills training course "Production of patchwork and quilted blankets using the kurak technique"
Results: 12 participants will learn how to sew and quilt blankets from pieces using the national kurak style. They will be proficient in the full technology and practice of sewing a patchwork quilt.
108 attendees of master-classes will learn how to sew a competitive products, such as handbags, key-holders, and brooshes in the national kurak style.
Elderly people participating in the fair will gain experience in selling their products to earn additional income. The Kyrgyz society will get acquainted with the products presented by the elderly people.
