On October 31, 2018, a Delegation of the European Parliament, visiting Uzbekistan to meet with the Uzbek authorities, parliament, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, other ministries, civil society organizations, and EU-funded projects, visited the Social Support Center (SSC) for vulnerable groups which was created by "INTILISH" and DVV International within the framework of "PATH" Project with support of the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
The project was implemented by DVV International in partnership with "INTILISH" from January 2016 to June 2018 and aimed to provide services to representatives of socially vulnerable groups of the population (people who were discharged from correctional institutions, as well as drug addicts living with HIV, victims of tuberculosis and others).
During the meeting, the results of the project and possibilities of its further sustainable development were discussed. DVV International continues to support the activities of the SSC. Head of DVV International Uzbekistan Tatyana Zaichenko and Director of "INTILISH", Tatyana Nikitina, presented the results of the project and answered questions of members of the European delegation.
